The cheapest sollution: The Amazfit Pace, an old smartwatch, you can find used in good shape starting at $20, new $50 (OK) to $200 (not OK). It has a microphone (no speaker though), but no recording app. But you can install one. Therefore, you need the AmazMod on both watch and phone (read this page halfway, beneath the 'installation' title). I don't remember wich sound recorder app works on the Pace. Here are some apps that work. And here is a thread about soundrecording. For installing apps: download the apk-installation file to your phone, use the file transfer on the phone in the AmazMod app, copy it to the watch, open the apk file on the witch in the file explorere from the AmazMod app on the watch and it should install. I can't help further, it's too long time ago I did this myself. But I can confirm it works: I did sound recording on the Amazfit Pace, but needed to copy the files to the phone using AmazMod to listen to them.

Offline maps & navigation: Osmand on Amazfit Pace (& Stratos?)
I also use AmazMod (both phone app and watch app found here), because when I use turn by turn navigation, there is a kind of black overlay which makes the maps invisible (but the turn by turn instructions remain visible). AmazMod allows to clean the Pace memory, only after that the maps are visible again. Amazmod is also used to switch on wifi for downloading maps.

My first analog face. Basic but I’ll center it and add things tonight then release it. Slipknot themed
When I ported my watch face to gts 4 mini (from gts 2 mini) I discovered that the watch face editor did not have the same functionality between the two watches (I like to launch the timer when clicking on the time, and launch new workout when clicking the steps widget). Since switching to using zeus, I was able to implement this functionality as well as add proper 12 and 24 hour support (am/pm icons and no leading 0 for 12 hr time). I'm also in the process of providing multiple language support in the same watch face. My watch face code is open source and (shameless plug) is available here: https://github.com/4v3ngR/modular4
