aUSD < 1 dollar. Should we be concerned?
There's a more technical explanation in the white paper. It's a similar system MakerDAO uses for DAI on Ethereum. During last bear market, ETH price went down 90% but DAI held its peg. So that's a battle-tested mechanism.

What is your Crowdloan strategy?
Also investing on those three, but more inclined to go 50/25/25. Acala is allocating 34% of the tokens to parachain auction participants, while Moonbeam is only offering 15% and Astar 20%. Liquid staking in a DeFi platform is nice as well.

Polkadot/Kusama parachain projects
Acala/Karura (ACA/KAR) - A decentralized finance hub and stablecoin platform powering cross blockchain liquidity. Lots of big partnerships and endorsements with this project. Many expect it to do very well. Whitpaper

Central banks use PID controllers to control stability [1]. Stable coin systems can use PID controller systems too [2]. Stable coins are as volatile as their fiat counterparts.
Crypto currencies are run by people as much as central banks are. People can have opinions and values. People forked of Ethereum into Ethereum Classic because they had an issue with the main chain's policy. ETC community is alive.
Building crypto currencies is all about optimizing for legitimacy [3]. We can build what we want, we just need to want it in the first place.
