I'm assuming you're not using aqlite (https://github.com/133spider/AQLite/releases), if you are -there is a setting that allows auto-untargeting yourself when you use those kind of skills.

The Artix Game Launcher is an Electron app. It is coded in JavaScript, and the Flash Player plugins were packaged with it to enable Flash. I suggest looking at Aquastar, an open-source AQW launcher; the basics of which you can study to use for your own work.

your friend could try this custom aqlite launcher called aquastar. it's what i've been using ever since aqlite 'died', and merged with the official client. (got no problems with this so far)

While its cool and all, the AE launcher sometimes sucks. There is another option for you, by trying AquaStar, a launcher me and 2 friends developed, mainly to bring AQLite to linux and other platforms with the death of Flash. Try it by downloading the AppImage file. no dependencies required! Try version 1.1 tho. We are also testing this new Vanilla AQLite transition...

AquaStar - AQLite in linux and other QoL improvements
Aquastar Download page, exe files for windows, appimages for linux. Exe is an installer, so it can show up in windows menu later and AppImages are a local executable, just run it. Also, i386 versions are the same as 32 bits, if needed.

I use Linux and I use https://github.com/aquaspy/AquaStar which is a build of aqlite made to work for linux I think the guy plans to create a mac build too
