Languages designed for typing on mobile phone
Dzaima's APL interpreter for Android was the first thing that came to my mind in regards to custom interfaces for typing code on a phone. It uses some nifty directional keys that can type up to 5 different symbols depending on swipe direction.

Why is GNU APL almost never mentioned online vs. Dyalog APL? And is the syntax divergence hurting adoption?

I should get around to packaging up the build with instructions on how to get it on one's phone. The other challenge was finding an Android keyboard with APL symbol input, and there is a great one, here.
