first flight simulator?
where the HECK did you download that? Seems like an unofficial copy from where you downloaded it. try https://download.flightgear.org/builds/nightly/ if you want the newest latest and greatest features and https://github.com/legoboyvdlp/A320-family for the a320. Also try the Boeing 777 in the Launcher.

Anyone else use flight simulators to be productive?
I dabbled in FlightGear when I was in college before jumping into X-Plane...there is a pretty good 320 (https://github.com/legoboyvdlp/A320-family) & MD-11 (https://github.com/Octal450/MD-11) .

FlightGear is still to this day my favorite open source game project
The JA-37 Viggen and the F-16 are both great projects, I highly recommend checking them out. Pretty mindblowing.
