Front end on Netflify, backend on Heroku and DB on Mongodb Atlast. Is this a typical deployment or did I spread it out too much?
If your using express as the backend for the web server, heroku automatically sets the process.env.PORT to the actual port your website is running so in the server.js file you need to run express with process.env.PORT, of you want to see actual code you can refer my project HMS Project
