Project mention: LocalStack – a functional local AWS cloud stack | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-04-05
I went to https://readthedocs.org/ and redirected me to https://about.readthedocs.com/?ref=readthedocs.org which looks proprietary now, with pricing and such.
Is it the end of this project, as we know it?
Can someone enlighten me please?
Considering all these points, the team at Flagsmith has developed a feature flag management platform Flagsmith and made it open source. The core functionality is open and you can check out the GitHub repository here. I have utilized and authored several blogs discussing their excellent offerings and strategies.
Project mention: GitHub: “Human eyes” will never see the contents of your private repositories | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-06-23I am thinking about self-hosting my private repositories for some time now. I also want a simple web interface for convenience. I don't need a "Github clone" like Gogs, Gitea..
What simpler alternatives are there? I found https://github.com/jonashaag/klaus . Is there something else?
Project mention: Ask HN: What apps have you created for your own use? | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-12-12I've created Kernel Tuner (https://github.com/KernelTuner/kernel_tuner) as a small software development tool, because I was writing a lot of CUDA and OpenCL kernels at the time. I didn't want to manually figure out what best thread block dimensions and work division among threads were on every GPU over and over again.
The tool evolved quite a bit since the first versions. I'm also using it for testing GPU code, teaching, and it has become one of the main drivers behind a lot of the research that I do.
Project mention: Show HN: Braq – The most obvious way to section a document | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-01-05Note that the above docstring format exists and the documentation generator that consumes it is not public. This docstring format is visible in the source code of my projects (https://pyrustic.github.io).
Braq is also used by Paradict for config files. This is what a config file in Paradict format might look like:
