Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Seeking a Type-Safe Ruby on Rails in TypeScript, I Started Developing an ORM
For example, the increasingly popular Prisma has high type safety but adopts the Table Gateway pattern. The closest fit was TypeORM, which uses the Active Record pattern, but its type support is weaker compared to recent ORMs, and its release frequency has been low recently.

PHP: Laravel, Ruby: Rails, JavaScript:?
While it may not have reached the level of Laravel or Rails, the current efforts in the JS world have recognized this issue. If you look at the toolkit of the solution mentioned above, you'll find a common name: Prisma

A Software Engineer's Tips and Tricks #1: Drizzle
In the world of software development, there are two kinds of developers: those who have never had to complain about ORMs and those who have actually used them. Whether it’s Django ORM for Python, Active Record for Ruby, GORM for Golang, Doctrine for PHP, or Prisma for TypeScript, a common issue persists: writing simple queries is straightforward, but constructing complex or optimized queries can take hours, if not days.

End-To-End Polymorphism: From Database to UI, Achieving SOLID Design
Unfortunately Prisma hasn’t supported polymorphism yet. As such, you can't use inheritance to model the entity in the same way as in your programming language, as depicted in the above class diagram. The good news is that we could intimate it using table inheritance to imitate it.

Next.js App Router Course
In this project I am manually declaring the data types. For better type-safety, use Prisma, which automatically generates types based on your database schema.

Next.js 14: Fetching Data
When you're creating a full-stack application, you'll also need to write logic to interact with your database. For relational databases like Postgres, you can do this with SQL, or an ORM like Prisma.

Rust GraphQL APIs for NodeJS Developers: Introduction
In my usual NodeJS tech stack, which includes GraphQL, NestJS, SQL (predominantly PostgreSQL with MikroORM), I encountered these limitations. To overcome them, I've developed a new stack utilizing Rust, which still offers some ease of development:

We migrated to SQL. Our biggest learning? Don't use Prisma
I found MikroORM [0] to be quite reasonable if you're in the TS ecosystem already. It was also easy to do custom, raw queries, and really just felt like it wasn't in the way.

The Epic Stack by Kent C. Dodds
It also does code generation into its own module, so good luck with hoisting in a monorepo where you want multiple independent prisma schemas. MikroORM[1] is a much better alternative to Prisma in my opinion but any ORM carries some form of baggage.
