When you connect to racing focused open world track servers, you also get any additional mods that whoever made the server decided to include, some servers have trash mods, but the best servers like the Ks Nord, Ks Imola, and Ks Spa servers include tire thermals /wear and the draft mod, which makes the game not only drive better, but it also turns the game into a proper racing sim.
