On iOS it’s written using a fork of Texture, formerly AsyncDisplayKit. In my experience, Texture outperforms UIKit’s auto layout and rich text widgets significantly.

But I ended up using this slightly modified version from a guy on their forums that makes setup a bit easier. Requires 2 DDNS IPs though which are easy and free to get.
