  • Project mention: Personal Knowledge Management Graph Visualization Tools for Neovim | /r/neovim | 2023-06-17

I recently came across this software called org-roam-ui, a tool to visualize Org Roam's Zettelkasten in a graphical way. is there something like that for neovim? I use vimwiki as my PKM and was wondering if any of you know of any tool similar to org-roam-ui that works well with neovim, specifically with Markdown files, for visualizing one's PKM system.

  • Project mention: On Keeping a Logbook (2010) | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-10-25

I use org-mode with the journal plugin, but I'm soon going to switch to zk[0]. My technique is called interstitional journaling[1], and I just keep track of my location (I travel a lot) and the date, which gets generated by org. You can set up an interstitional journal in anything though, Logseq[2] supports it out of the box.

  • emanote

Emanate a structured view of your plain-text notes

  • Project mention: Taking math notes on your computer [LINUX] | /r/learnmath | 2023-05-05

Im personally using Emanote which does exactly what you describe. It supports LaTeX and lots of other features via Pandoc. Its also very nice to use in that it supports hot-reloading, instead of requiring manual refreshing. The only downside for some might be that its installed via the Nix ecosystem which is (great but) a bit of a rabbit hole you might not want to deal with, particularly depending on your level of technicality on the computer.

  • Project mention: What are your second brain apps like Obsidian? | /r/ObsidianMD | 2023-12-10

GOOGLE KEEP - like your usage of TODOIST, but this is my capture tool. I like Tiago Forte's thoughts on capture tools and PARA, so this isn't a todo-list, just a capture of ideas that may become a project or resource later in obsidian. I've chatted with the dev on keep-it-markdown which logs into google and downloads keep notes as markdown, so I don't have to copy/paste into obsidian even - https://github.com/djsudduth/keep-it-markdown
