Segmentation models with pretrained backbones. PyTorch.Project mention: Dice Score not decreasing when doing semantic segmentation | reddit.com/r/learnmachinelearning | 2022-04-17
When i pass the CT-Scans and the masks to the Loss Function, which is the Jaccard-Loss from the segmentation_models.pytorch library, the value does not decrease but stay in the range of 1.0-0.9 over 50 epochs training on only one batch of 32 images. As far as I have understood, my network should overfit and the loss should decrease since I am only training on one batch of a small amount of images. However this does not happen. I also tried more batches with all the data over 100 epochs, but the loss does not decrease either obviously. Does anyone have an idea what I might have done wrong? Do I have to change anything when passing the masks to my loss function?

Segmentation models with pretrained backbones. Keras and TensorFlow Keras.Project mention: recommendations for semantic segmentation of lowish volumes of biomedical images | reddit.com/r/computervision | 2022-07-26
I'm building some semantic segmentation models off of low-moderate volumes of biomedical images (~500 - 1k images). So far I've done some hyperparameter sweeping (learning rate, transfer learning, architectures, dropout layers) using the Segmentation Models package from qubvel https://github.com/qubvel/segmentation_models but I'm only seeing moderate performance and minimal differences between tested parameters.
unet for image segmentationProject mention: U-net Returning Black Square As Prediction | reddit.com/r/MLQuestions | 2022-02-07
Issue with the model architecture and what I’m trying to do with it? I’ve used the model from this GitHub project (https://github.com/zhixuhao/unet), as it seemed somewhat similar to what I was trying to do. I understand what is happening from layer to layer, but not the input/output parts. (I’ll put the code for it below)
#1 Open Source Unity Networking LibraryProject mention: Starting working on improving the UI and adding customizable tooltip to my 4x game. | reddit.com/r/IndieDev | 2022-09-04
I saw you were working with Unity. You can look in to https://mirror-networking.com/ as a tool for handling multiplayer/networking. I've dabbled with it as part of another project and I think its very much worth building your game with the basic multiplayer architecture from the get go as I'm told its a nightmare to try and add the multiplayer in at a late stage.
Build, train, deploy, scale and maintain deep learning models. Understand ML infrastructure and MLOps using hands-on examples.Project mention: [P] Deep Learning in Production Book | reddit.com/r/MachineLearning | 2021-11-30
The book is based on an old articles series we wrote on our blog so a big portion of the content is already available for free. We just organized/restructured some of the articles and we added some new material. We use a variety of examples with libraries such as Tensorflow, Flask, uWSGI, Nginx, Docker, Kubernetes, Tensorflow Extended, Google Cloud, Vertex AI. The full code and the articles can be found on Github (https://github.com/The-AI-Summer/Deep-Learning-In-Production)
BCDU-Net : Medical Image SegmentationProject mention: [D] Extensions to U-nets | reddit.com/r/MachineLearning | 2022-03-18
I compared a U-net, BCDU-net, and a U2-net for glacier semantic segmentation which is a pretty easy task. I don't still have the exact numbers, but U2-net was the best. I've also used a U2-net to map geologic structures which is a lot harder and the U2-net did well there too.

Deep learning for audio denoisingProject mention: Help with speech enhancement | reddit.com/r/deeplearning | 2021-10-25
Hi iam very new to deep learning and starting to experiment and learn So I wanted to denoise and enhance some speech files After going through alot of repos this one was the best https://github.com/vbelz/Speech-enhancement I installed all the dependencys (it was a hell) I had my data ready I started a test (10 epochs) and it was done But when I wanted to test it it says there is no json file and there isn't any! I read the code and and there is no function to make a json file its really confusing And iam pissed af all of the deep learning projects in github have near to no documentation even of how to use per traind models and finding a one that's has even the traing feature is a luxury and like the one that iam useing because the repos aren't updated from the last century they don't work
