Project mention: Bitmagnet Allows People to Run Their Own Decentralized Torrent Indexer Locally | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-02-18
Not really. qBittorent is built on Qt (thus the prefix), and has a hand-rolled webui in pure html + css + js (with a couple of helper libraries, but no heavy frameworks):

ZernoNet project: GitHub - HelloZeroNet/ZeroNet: ZeroNet - Decentralized websites using Bitcoin crypto and BitTorrent network
Movies: Radarr
https://github.com/anacrolix/torrent has a fuse driver since 2013. I'm in the early stages of removing it. There are WebDAV, 3rd party FUSE, and HTTP wrappers of the client all doing similar things: serving magnet links, infohashes, and torrent files like an immutable filesystem. BitTorrent v2 support is currently in master.

Project mention: 'Canada Is a Video Piracy Hotspot While Brazil Sees Piracy in Decline' | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-01-21I think you’re in a different bubble. If no one used vpn for torrents why is one of the top docker images for transmission one to support vpns? No ones spending money on a seed box that’s just casually torrenting.

Project mention: Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me!! Recent streaming services, prices and shows getting butchered, finally decided its time. Here's how a basic self-hosted 'Netflix' would look like. Fully automated once its setup. Using only a makeshift homelab server from second hand parts. | /r/Piracy | 2023-07-06Prowlarr: Integrates content providers with Sonarr and Radarr.
I highly recommend Lidarr for organization/naming of your library. It's usually associated with piracy, but I just use it to maintain my self-ripped library and ensure that Plex has no issues discovering all my media.
Project mention: Show HN: PikaTorrent, a modern, multi-platform, open source BitTorrent app | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-07-15For example, down that page there's a Transmission remote GUI screenshot (I use it as Transmission here is a daemon on my headless XigmaNAS server).

What would be wrong with it or anything similar? Every information is just there, no need to swipe left and right to read information that has been either hidden elsewhere or, worse, taken away.
Magnetissimo sort of does that but it only works for some torrent sites. e.g. 1337x, TorrentDownloads, & Nyaa.
