Not sure of any package that handles that specific use case perse. But if you're thinking of showing a preview, and don't want to load the original file, take a look at an image handling library like intervention

While working in one of my project I had to implement a feature where I have turn an HTML webpage to an Image. The first thought that occurred to me was to use an inbuilt library but like dom-to-image or using Chrome Headless or a wrapper library like Puppeteer. While working I came across this technique using pure Javascript.

Currently, JPEG XL can be enabled in Chromium, Firefox, and Opera browsers, but has no other browser support. JPEG XL is supposed to remain royalty free. You can grab the encoder and decoder off Github and chat with other JPEG XL enthusiasts on Reddit and Discord. You can install JPEG XL utilities on Mac using homebrew and on Windows. Tools like GIMP and ImageMagick are beginning to support it.

Have you tried photopea.com? Its like photoshop in the browser rather than paint.net but that along with jspaint.app covers all my image ed iting needs

react-native-image-crop-picker
iOS/Android image picker with support for camera, video, configurable compression, multiple images and cropping
Recently added this library: https://github.com/ivpusic/react-native-image-crop-picker but after trying to debug the issues that I get on build, I saw that this library is unavailable for linking through rnpm and only through cocoapods. Is there any way to unlink the library using rnpm and then install cocoa pods and do it that way? I don't want to create some conflicts between the two.
