material-shell

It's meant to be 100% predictable and bring the benefits of tools coveted by professionals to everyone.
Project mention: Kera Desktop: A brand-new desktop environment in the development | /r/linux | 2023-06-09I'm confused. How does that work? Is it like a GNOME extension or something; similar to how Material Shell works?

dash-to-dock
A dock for the Gnome Shell. This extension moves the dash out of the overview transforming it in a dock for an easier launching of applications and a faster switching between windows and desktops.

I'm using GSConnect on Ubuntu. I have first disabled "Clipboard Sync". There are a number of Actions for which keyboard shortcuts can be defined for a device [1]. One of them is Clipboard Push. I assigned Shift+Ctrl+Alt+V to that, so whenever I execute that contrived key combination, the clipboard is synced to my mobile. I suppose KDE Connect has a similar feature.

Project mention: How to Install and Set Up Terminator + Oh My ZSH! on Ubuntu 23.04 | dev.to | 2023-05-23
For terminal software, I really enjoy using Terminator, because it allows me to spawn several tiled terminals in a single window, with a custom arrangement that can expand and shrink easily.

flat-remix
Flat Remix is an icon theme inspired by material design. It is mostly flat using a colorful palette with some shadows, highlights, and gradients for some depth.
Project mention: [Arch Linux] Comment décompressez-vous les fichiers en arch? | /r/enfrancais | 2023-04-19 -
I’ve heard this called “the defaults lifestyle” on the Software Defined Talk podcast. I’m forever locked out of nirvana because I have an iPhone but not a Mac, but that’s fine.
Occasionally plugins are worth the expense though. I finally discovered Argos[0] and I’m using it to show time in UTC and a couple other time zones. Super handy.
But if I try some new software and find that I have to tweak it a bunch to make it usable, that means the devs have different aesthetics and I should probably try something else.

flat-remix-gnome
Flat Remix is a GNOME Shell theme inspired by material design. It is mostly flat using a colorful palette with some shadows, highlights, and gradients for some depth.
Project mention: I started my journey away from Windows with Pop back in May 2020 (last screenshot) and switched to Arch after 6 months to get more familiar with Linux. Faced challenges and learned a lot. Now, as a professional 3D artist, I return to Pop OS for stability—full circle after 3 years! | /r/pop_os | 2023-05-21I'm using the Flat Remix theme by Daniruiz! As for the workspace, I'm not entirely sure what it is you are asking for specifically, but I turned off most of Pop_OS's COSMIC extensions in the Extensions app (if you don't have it, you can get it with sudo apt install gnome-shell-extensions) to get my desktop back to vanilla Gnome. COSMIC is really cool, but it's not compatible with a lot of Gnome extensions you need to customize your desktop further.

Project mention: Video recording in Wayland (Gnome) is giving me all sorts of problems. | /r/linuxquestions | 2023-05-23
Kooha, no matter what setting i change, gives me a recording with frozen images, i opened an issue in their Github, but it's been a week and no support https://github.com/SeaDve/Kooha/issues/242 And looking at the frequency of updates, the project looks unmaintained.

Some shell themes have a different accent color (for example https://github.com/vinceliuice/Colloid-gtk-theme). A word of caution though: custom shell themes might be less stable than the default Pop theme. If you want to change the log in screen theme, find a theme that also includes GDM (such as https://github.com/vinceliuice/Qogir-theme).

I hope these two are useful to you: Sweet theme Candy Icons
