Code-Runner-Web-Component
A web component that allows you to run high level programming languages on your websites (static websites included!)
Well, it depends on how you use it; writing to an image buffer isn't much less efficient than writing to any normal buffer (in fact, although displaying your scene to a window efficiently is important, your main bottleneck will be the actual ray tracing loop). You may want to read this article for a practical example of using an ImageBuffer to create and draw a texture with Piston. Other window backends you could use, apart from pixels which was already mentioned in another comment, include minifb and Mini GL, though I haven't personally used them.
Project mention: Ask HN: Secure Python code execution environment | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-01-15and public reviews (as well as reviews on similar approaches [1]), the approach does not seem to satisfy my requirements. After some additional searching, I found a possible dockerized solution:

I want to ask the HN community if anybody has experience in this problem space and what solutions they would suggest. Is the Piston's dockerized approach secure enough to be used in production systems?
I would really appreciate any insights anyone could provide.
Was looking at existing StateMachine and BehaviorTree examples recently and I found the following Behavior Tree crates https://github.com/PistonDevelopers/ai_behavior https://github.com/Sollimann/bonsai
