Project mention: Visualizer for neural network, deep learning and machine learning models | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-12-26
Project mention: Indexing iCloud Photos with AI Using LLaVA and Pgvector | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-01-22I haven't used it for search, but I believe Insightface's embeddings can be used for this purpose. https://insightface.ai/
Project mention: AMD Funded a Drop-In CUDA Implementation Built on ROCm: It's Open-Source | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-02-12ncnn uses Vulkan for GPU acceleration, I've seen it used in a few projects to get AMD hardware support.

See also https://github.com/unifyai/ivy which I have not tried but seems along the lines of what you are describing, working with all the major frameworks
Another option is DALI https://github.com/NVIDIA/DALI For my project while training EfficientNet2, it was a game changer. But it a way harder to implement in code than TorchVision or Kornia.
Project mention: JAX – NumPy on the CPU, GPU, and TPU, with great automatic differentiation | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-09-28Agree, though I wouldn’t call PyTorch a drop-in for NumPy either. CuPy is the drop-in. Excepting some corner cases, you can use the same code for both. Thinc’s ops work with both NumPy and CuPy:

We are ready to create and deploy the sagemaker model on SageMaker as asynchronous endpoint using a image URI and the model data uploaded to S3. For different deployment regions and requirements, find suitable container images at AWS Deep Learning Container.
Project mention: 20x Faster as the Beginning: Introducing pgvecto.rs extension written in Rust | dev.to | 2023-08-06Mosec - A high-performance serving framework for ML models, offers dynamic batching and CPU/GPU pipelines to fully exploit your compute machine. Simple and faster alternative to NVIDIA Triton.
