Project mention: Show HN: Another way to use an old tablet as an extra screen | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-10-06I've used Weylus [0]. It works over LAN, lets you control the mouse from your tablet. Sometimes it's laggy, but you can configure the resolution so it's not using too much bandwidth. I'm not sure if it's stable at all. Haven't used it on a regular basis.
Fixes for the new OS, general improvements, and tons of thanks to all testers for their help! https://github.com/blinksh/blink/discussions/1850
Keka isn't open source. It's not even source-available! https://github.com/aonez/Keka/blob/fb4292000cf946e6a022d0281...
> The source code of Keka 1.0 will not be public due some legal issues. Legal support is needed, if you can help the project, please get in contact on [email protected] or the Project page on the official Keka website. Any help is welcome.
Project mention: Is there a SwiftUI-Kit equivalent for React Native, to achieve the native Apple app feel? | /r/u_tiedRenegade | 2023-07-01
Not sure which macOS version you’re running but you can try your luck with Free Sidecar. It enables unsupported Macs and iPads to also use Sidecar. It’s worked for me in the past, problem was I was trying to enable support on an iPad Air 2 and Sidecar only works with an Apple Pencil (IPA2 does not support Pencil) so it did not work regardless. But it may be able to help your situation.
Project mention: Are there any libraries that I can use or any way to make such audio waveforms? I looked into a library called "react-native-audiowaveform" but it's not being maintained anymore and doesn't work for newer versions of RN | /r/reactnative | 2023-05-21https://github.com/dmrschmidt/DSWaveformImage for iOS

Project mention: No libraries, no frameworks. With just Javascript and a HTML Canvas I finally finished my game. Source code in comments. | /r/webdev | 2023-04-19One of the more recent finds I've started using is either JSDoc tsc checking with TypeScript, which can help with making sure the codebase is structurally-sound, type wise. That was a huge step up for me. You don't even have to use full TypeScript to get that, just plain JavaScript and JSDoc will do! My game has since moved to TypeScript since I've been trying to learn it more (https://github.com/Offroaders123/Flatlands), but here's an example for one of my projects when it was using JSDoc + JavaScript for type checking (https://github.com/Offroaders123/Smart-Text-Editor/tree/36b698a52d401090a99bb46a4663486f36cf212d).
