  • usbrubberducky-payloads

  • logiops

An unofficial userspace driver for HID++ Logitech devices

  • Project mention: No support for mx master 3? | /r/kde | 2023-12-05

I've used both a Master 3 and a 3S, and have generally found that you need the logiops driver for full support. I'm not sure about its compatibility with Blender OOTB, but it gives you full HID control over the mouse via a config file.

  • bashbunny-payloads

The Official Bash Bunny Payload Repository

  • Project mention: Pi pico bash bunny | /r/hacking | 2023-05-02
  • WiFiDuck

    Wireless keystroke injection attack platform

  • Project mention: I Tested an HDMI Adapter That Demands Your Location and Spams You with Ads | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-09-29

Agreed. If you want to prove to yourself that this vulnerability is real, consider that you can replicate the hypothesized malicious device you describe by taking a WiFi Duck https://wifiduck.com/ and combining it with a regular lightning-to-HDMI adapter by plugging the WiFi Duck into the extra lightning port on the HDMI adapter. All that would be needed to use this attack on an unsuspecting victim would be to combine the WiFi Duck and the HDMI adapter functionality into a small enough circuit board to fit into the Apple-style white enclosure.

  • xpadneo

Advanced Linux Driver for Xbox One Wireless Controller (shipped with Xbox One S)

  • Project mention: Xbox Series S | X controllers aren't being detected on Fedora 38 | /r/linux_gaming | 2023-08-04

In the other distros I've tried (ubuntu / pop os) I usually solve the problem by installing xpadneo using the official method that can be found here. But this doesn't seem to be working in this case. I've already tried using gnome bluetooth settings, blueman and bluetoothctl.

  • hidapi

A Simple cross-platform library for communicating with HID devices

  • Project mention: Trying to get raw HID working to get vim modes to trigger qmk events and layers. | /r/olkb | 2023-05-20

On the computer, write a program (the "host" or "server") that talks over the raw HID protocol. It is open ended how you do this, but IME both the Python pyhidapi and C hidapi were simple enough to get something started. The trickiest part might be getting the program to run with the permissions to talk the raw HID protocol (at least on Linux, there was some udev rule to set up). Read the documentation for these libraries for details about how to get set up.

  • node-hid

Access USB & Bluetooth HID devices through Node.js

  • Project mention: Dynamouse: Mouse driver for big Mac studios | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-01-30
  • HeadsetControl

Sidetone and Battery status for Logitech G930, G533, G633, G933 SteelSeries Arctis 7/PRO 2019 and Corsair VOID (Pro) in Linux and MacOSX

  • Project mention: Add support for Steelseries Nova 7 | /r/linuxaudio | 2023-11-28

I guessing it needs to be put into a state todo this? The program https://github.com/Sapd/HeadsetControl can query the state of the Game/Chat mix dial. I pretty much just use this dial for Discord, so at minimum I want to have it so using the Game/Chat mix dial changes the volume of the Discord application. Ideal would be having a virtual sound that gets mixed back into the sound output.

  • BlueRetro

  • Project mention: Raspberry Pi Hunts Shiny Pokémon While You Sleep | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-08-11

Oh wow, awesome use-case. This actually uses my Switch Bluetooth Controller emulation project [0] under the hood for automating the button presses. If you have a RPi on-hand, you can grab a decent USB capture card for around $15 on Ebay or Amazon, last I checked, for a cheap(er) entry point into automation projects like this.
