  As far as I know. Spotify use DRM, you can download track or podcast with youtube-dl but encrypted. With m3u8 links. You'll need a key. And then decrypt it. Also, why don't use this? https://github.com/spotDL/spotify-downloader Good luck.

  When I run the child process command in the command prompt it works perfectly fine but not when using it in my code. Also when I run it in command prompt it opens up a new window which may be the reason why it is not able to run the parameters but I currently don't know how to do that.   Usually the downloader you need depends on the website you want to download the images form. In general, here are some opensource ones which support a variety of websites: gallery-dl, ripme and various other ones on github. There for paid ones, there are Extreme Picture Finder and Bulk Image Downloader, which have easier to use GUIs and are properly maintained, but as said, they are paid.

  I like pyLoad more, has a webinterface and can run inside docker on a server. So it can download even when my pc is turned off. Used some greasemonkey browser scripts to get Click'N'Load working. I don't use it anymore though, i completely stopped OCH downloading.

  That said, "download accelerators" were also clever programs that would create multiple connections with the origin and use Range headers to download different parts of the file.

  Wonder why I don't hear of them anymore. Maybe because server upload bandwidth is more often generous enough to saturate your bandwidth these days?
