Project mention: How Automation Saved Me from Oops Moments: Never Skip Tests in Production Again! | dev.to | 2024-02-06We were already using lint-staged and have a pre-commit hook in place using Husky in our project for linter and prettier. So it made sense to add a check here.

Project mention: Pgroll: zero-downtime, undoable, schema migrations for Postgres | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-10-03Forr postgres, how does the schema diffing aspect compare to migra?
https://github.com/djrobstep/migra
I'm asking because, although migra is excellent and there are multiple migrations tools based on it (at least https://github.com/bikeshedder/tusker and https://github.com/blainehansen/postgres_migrator), issues are piling up but development seem to be slowing down
I use Husky.net to hook in dotnet format on changed files.
Project mention: Ask HN: What was an interesting project you started and finished over a weekend? | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-04-06I've built a first version of Logdy[1] over the weekend. Since then I have been developing it and it's getting traction and attention.
Logdy is a real-time logs browser that is meant to replace viewing logs in a terminal during development stage. I was tired of browsing and searching through infinite stream of non-searchable json whereas having such a great tool as DataDog on production. I've felt that development process lacks this kind of tool and decided to scratch my own itch.
