Project mention: I fixed the "Save draft" Button on dev.to - No Accidental Publishing Anymore 😇 | dev.to | 2024-03-25

I even opened a discussion, which got no responses so far (which I think existed somewhere else or I am the only one with this issue...).

  • nodeBB

Node.js based forum software built for the modern web

    Project mention: Don't Use Discord as a Forum | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-09-13

    > I'm a big fan of https://nodebb.org/

TIL to what shit Netgate moved pfSense forums to. I'm glad you are fine with it, but not only my FullHD monitor is not a smartphone, so I don't need 400% fonts on everything (and post dates on the faaaaar right clearly shows nobody ever even used the forum) and most importantly - search doesn't work. It's not like the previous forum had a good search, but at least it worked.

Bonus point: try to Ctrl+mousewheel on any NodeBB (including the official one).

  • Cider

A new cross-platform Apple Music experience based on Electron and Vue.js written from scratch with performance in mind. 🚀

Project mention: Spotify HiFi is still MIA after three years, and now so is my subscription | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-02-23

I looked into swapping to Apple Music before but couldn't find a way to play lossless music on Linux making swapping pointless. Apparently[0] decryption for lossless isn't supported for 3rd party clients.

Anyone know of a way around this?

Again, people can ask for their subdomains to be added through PRs, and the maintainers get to use the PR approval process to verify the contribution and decide on whether to add or not: https://github.com/js-org/js.org/blob/master/cnames_active.js
