Apparently I heard that adblocker isn't good. I think there's some privacy concerns with it. I'd recommend switching to uBlock Origin: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock

np If you use Safari, I really like 1Blocker (though note that while basic features are free, the premium features are subscription-based). For other browsers, uBlock Origin seems to be the go-to.

  • YouTube Music Video ads start pretty much every time I chose a new song, I get a 5 second ad.
If this does not help, open The logger and then open new tab with YT, wait until you see ad, export log in the logger (top right, clipboard icon). Paste it into pastebin.com or similar and share the link.

If you can't find a faulty filter in the Logger, try its DOM Inspector. It should highlight the missing element red, and when you strike it through it should change to green. Make sure to save with the diskette icon.
This doesn't happen for me with default settings and filters (or, for that matter, with 3rd-party requests blocked or scripting turned off - didn't try anything else), so presumably you have a cosmetic filter that hides that element. Does the element return when you disable cosmetic filtering?
