there are a ton of amazing projects out there that need contributors. you can literally chose anything (kdenlive, blender, vlc, libre office...) and it would be perfectly fine. I will just link my favorite small project: https://luxtorpeda.gitlab.io/ , https://dosbox-staging.github.io/ , https://github.com/dreamer/luxtorpeda/
Help with Blake Stone source port?

If you were using Linux I could help you more (On Linux there are more options - you could install a Steam compatibility tool like Luxtorpeda, but there's no such option when using Steam on Windows).

I guess its because I haven't bought any games in a while, but I just grabbed a bunch of deals! I'm on an old-school shooter kick, so I got Dusk and Post Void (the latter runs really well with proton!). I also picked up the Quake Collection. If anyone doesn't know already, if you install Luxtorpedia as a steamplay compatibility tool (just follow the instructions on github), it'll automatically download linux native binaries for windows-only games on steam that have a linux version or source port elsewhere. I've been playing Quake 1 and 2, and both work perfectly right out of the box using this tool! Even works with my ultrawide monitor, no issues!
