  • Skipped Spot With Concentric Fill | 2021-01-19
This bug has been open since 2017, so... nah, nah, they're not fixing it.

  • Noticing on PrusaSlicer that the "interface" layers between support and primary model do not extrude correctly (PS 2.3.0). Anyone else notice this? How do I fix this? | 2021-01-19

  • Hey guys please help! I used to have 6 user presets and one day when I open the 2.2.0 my User Presets all gone! (The one right now I save it after it happened!) HOW? I'm way too lazy to recalibrate each of my filaments :( | 2021-01-19

  • TIL you need to turn elephant’s foot compensation off if you’re putting down a brim in PrusaSlicer... | 2021-01-13
Compensation could technically be applied to multiple layers for a perfect compensation, but tuning this would be much more complicated (let alone the slicer implementation, which is already complicated as-is). | 2021-01-13
No. My picture is the skirt and brim left on the plate after removing the part that detached cleanly because it did not connect to the brim. You can see here an example where even my slicer showed a gap. | 2021-01-13
True. This annoys me as well. There is more discussion about this issue from the UX point of view here:
  • PrusaSlicer 2.3 is out: Paint-on supports, Ironing, Monotonic infill, Seam painting, Adaptive cubic infills, Print time per feature analysis, etc. | 2021-01-11 | 2021-01-11
I too experience download failure from the official site for the Mac version. However, to me it seems like the images are individually hosted on github? In any case, I was able to download what seems to be 2.3 release from here: | 2021-01-11
It's already open. I hope they will consider it.

  • Cura vs Prusa (I’m leaving S3D)
You may as well look at the next version of PrusaSlicer, which has a pre-release here:
  • Why does my print begin in the middle of the object and not complete to the edges? (Prusaslicer) | 2021-01-08
Monotonic infill will address the inconsistent top layer. It is an option in the new PrusaSlicer 2.3 release, currently at RC1. You can download it from the PrusaSlicer GitHub page.  If you don't want to use the pre-release version, try slowing down top layer infill and tweaking the top layer extrusion widths. Monotonic infill is the real fix though.
  • What Cura profiles are you using for your CR-10 v2? 😅 | 2021-01-07 the release in there on their git hub. when you go through the setup wizard it defaults on Prusa, but you can pick other manufactures. in there it has almost all printers by creality, including the cr-10 lineup
