Uncropped the cover of Midtown Madness, 1999
For some reason, Reddit won't let me reply to your reply, so I'm going to reply here. I was finally able to get this figured out and running. I had to use https://github.com/0x1F9F1/Open1560 to get it to launch after I got it installed, but getting it installed was the hard part. I used Lutris and ran Wine in Windows XP mode. Finally I had to switch the audio driver to ALSA. Why I had so many problems vs you and the person you linked, I have no clue. But hopefully someone in the future will be able to use this to get things running smoothly for them!

There is a open source re-implementation of this beta, it's called Open1560. Useful if you want to use it on a modern PC ,or check the dev things that are available on this version.
