This is welcome as it makes life a little easier users of apps that are hosted outside the Play Store, such as on GitHub like this diabetes app.

Question About Dexcom Apple Watch App
reddit.com/r/diabetes | 2021-03-04
Due to a Google policy change, WearOS apps which depend on a phone are deprecated from 10 March. If you reset your watch, or buy a new watch, you will be unable to install these apps without specialist tools intended for developers. [3 March update: devs cannot even upload such apps to Play Store]

Anyone who has an Android Wear 1.x watch. And even for later WearOS devices there are many published apps which use this co-dependent app model. For example, I recently saw the Nightscout Foundation for type 1 diabetes has the x-Drip app which has a phone app with embedded watch component. x-Drip isn't on the Play Store. My own Wear Logger, Wear Reminder 2, Wear BT Monitor, Wear Text apps all have associated Android phone apps that are essential to their operation and functionality.

I haven't actually tried this, but I think you can set up XDrip+ to sync with android watches.
Anyone successfully using Dexcom Follow on a Google Pixel with CalyxOS?
reddit.com/r/dexcom | 2021-02-19
https://github.com/NightscoutFoundation/xDrip they try to work on all different android devices so I think you should have luck with it. On a side note, you caught my interest with calyx. I have a pixel 3 i dont use anymore. The cli install seems straightforward but then I saw on the top if your device is from verizon its locked and you cant access the bootloader to install a different os.
I am planning to buy a Freestyle Libre and a reader as well to turn it into a CGM. Confused between Miao Miao and Bubble. Any users here? Vote now![Bubble](https://bubbleshop.eu/product/bubble-freestyle-libre-glucose-monitor/)[Miao Miao](https://miaomiao.cool/)

Libre 2 can send data to xDrip directly, but that doesn't work with US libre. https://github.com/NightscoutFoundation/xDrip/issues/1394
CGMs and me. A few questions.
reddit.com/r/diabetes | 2021-02-11
The patch simply changes the permissions of the Librelink app, allowing other apps to read the data that it pulls from the bluetooth. This allows it to work with xDrip.
