Microsoft's WSLg will allow for x-forwarding from WSL to the host Windows OS, meaning you can host GUI applications running in WSL as a Windows window. This can already be achieved with third-party solutions (I've done it with Putty and VcXsrv), however WSLg promises proper integration between the two systems, 60 FPS rendering, and GPU acceleration.
