Since you look to be deep into this, let me take the opportunity and ask what do you think of the vhs-decode project. Today's tools are already overkill for vhs, but what if you could squeeze every magnetic bit out of those medias? when I think floppy preservation nowadays, i think about flux copies and wonder if we're not also leaving some more on the plate (like teletext pages that are able to be ripped from home recordings).

I miss aertel It was a one-way(excl pg 777) internet without all the hate and doom and gloom and disagreements. Loved the aesthetic of it with the black background. No ads, no clickbait, just good times. Through times of boom and times of bust, late at night or during a match, It was there for us :)

Hitsi, muilla näköjään ollut samoja ideoita, aika hyvännäköinen paketti työkaluja! Tuon squash-komento väittäisi tekevän juuri tuon mitä ajattelin, mutta en ole ihan varma tekeekö sen toteutus mitä lupaa... Mutta sehän voisi olla jotain kokeiltavaksi, ja korjattavaksi jos ei tee niin!
