Calling on the data nerds here! Are you interested in UFC fight data?
A huuugge help was finding mma fight/fighter stats from kaggle. The file contains serious data for every UFC event (main card + prelims) since 1993 (to 2019). I've been interested in the same thing; maintaining a dataset large enough to compare the types of stats that go beyond KO/TKOs in 1 or 2 rounds. Since you're into web-scraping, ufc-fight-stats web crawler is another great recourse I found using python & scrapy. Feel free to add on discord (ImDerekD#3165) if you're ever trying to collab!
