    I've also tried installing the latest tuxedo-keyboard and tuxedo-control-center, but but no keyboard backlight control is present and configuration of tuxedo-keyboard, as advised on github does not work. This is expected behavior, though, as it is stated in the readme that tuxedo-keyboard does not work with non-rgb backlight.

    Sigh. Even Tuxedo laptops need the Clevo DKMS keyboard backlight driver.

    It looks like their software at https://github.com/tuxedocomputers/tuxedo-keyboard is only designed to work for Clevo laptops and not the TongFang.
