[Question] Ok so I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1.0, it isn't jailbroken. How can I save the SHSH blobs?
You cannot jailbreak iOS 5.1 on iPhone 4s. The only way to dump blobs without jailbreak is by entering pwndfu with Arduino, downloading Odysseus and then running ./irecovery -f pwnediBSS and following this tutorial from step 5.

[question] Does anyone know of any tools that can put a 5c or 4S into pwnedDfu mode? The ones I know of doesn’t work anymore since they are outdated.
Get the fork of ipwndfu by synackuk, will work for iPhone 5c (A6). For iPhone 4s (A5), currently have to use Arduino. https://github.com/synackuk/ipwndfu https://github.com/synackuk/checkm8-a5

Where? I do not see S5L8940 in the current SoC support. Get an Arduino and USB Host Shield, and use checkm8-a5
