Are there any downsides in using svelte or sveltekit?
I recently searched for a robust, high-quality, aria conform multi-select dropdown in vanilla js. For React there is react-select or downshift, each with millions of downloads. I couldn't find a good equivalent in vanilla.

Ask HN: What are the fundamental diffs between modern web vs. desktop UI models
@drowe859's answer was excellent.
The only thing I'd add is that there's _thousands_ of freely available React components, including dozens of implementations of the kinds of widgets you listed (treeviews, specific form input types, etc). Sometimes they're available as a one-off lib [0], a small focused lib with a few specific components [1] [2], or a giant kitchen sink lib with dozens or hundreds of components [3] [4] [5] [6].
So, those _do_ exist, and in a similar sense to Qt or Gtk.

Autocomplete and Verify Address With React Components
AddressForm accepts the same props as Autocomplete and an additional prop called styles for modifying the appearance of the elements used in the form (container, input, label, row). Autocomplete uses the Select component from the react-select library under the hood, so any props meant for Select will be propagated by Autocomplete. Thus, we override styles of our address form according to react-select’s styling framework.
