A Discussion on Movie/TV Show Piracy and Automation!
1B: I'd suggest looking into Lists in Radarr/Sonarr. I use https://github.com/aapjeisbaas/popular-movies which is inspired by Steven Lu's IMDB popular list but enables more fine tuning. Both access the IMDB api to get popular/trending or other lists and adds them to radarr/sonarr. The api I'm recommending can additionally filter by rating/year/number of reviews (which is very important imo) Radarr/Sonarr also support trakt lists and direct imdb listings if thats more your style
