Thank you for the reply! From what i could gather it seems that this:https://github.com/pterodactyl/panel/commit/ccecaa6694333d5758ddfff91c1a6cc933549674 would be able to add log functionality? Although I'm not quite sure as to how or where I would apply the code to implement it into my panel.

Minecraft Server Management Software - Beginner Friendly
There are game server panels like AMP and Pterodactyl Panel which obfuscate the actual server commands pretty well and offer the features you are talking about, with robust community support that allows them to go beyond just Minecraft. It might be a bit more difficult than a click-to-run desktop app, but I'd argue anyone who can't follow the install guide for either of those tools probably won't be able to run their server securely and would be better off going with a Minecraft server host or Realms.
