Show HN: 2048 with Blitz Mode
I got bored of normal 2048 so I made this. It allows you to enter "blitz mode" with a set time per move and an ability to scale the board up if you want to play longer games.
It allows 2 3 or 5 second turns, and can play up to 8, 10, or 12 size boards.
It is nothing too complicated or complex but the code is here if you want to see

Running Pong in 240 browser tabs
I attended Nolen's recent talk at Recurse, and these absolutely mad but fundamentally funny and cool games as one-shots are so delightful.
It reminds me of the older internet, when people would make things just to be silly and have fun. I had some fun last night inspired by some of the stuff he has been posting making a very funny kind-of-quine that outputs its own source code of the page showing it, via BEAM decompilation and some other tricks. I wish I had the time to crank out things like this, and it makes me smile to know that there are people out there creating things in this manner that will just keep things interesting for all of us.
The piece that gets the sort-of quine is here, if anyone wants a laugh https://github.com/notactuallytreyanastasio/blog/blob/main/l...

Show HN: Write and print Valentine's (or other) letters like it's a typewriter
Write a letter. Hit cmd/ctrl+P and print it as if it were really written on a typewriter.
I enjoy writing letters on a typewriter.
It's quite intentional, and you have to be careful and deliberate.
I wanted to write a letter to my wife this way, so I made this tool since I can't keep a typewriter in my New York City apartment.
I thought it was a cathartic fun way to write.
It's also built very simply technically. The code is all here in its entirety: https://github.com/notactuallytreyanastasio/blog/blob/main/l...
