[Tutorial] another tethered downgrade tutorial
Presenting another useless tethered downgrade tutorial. I'm pretty sure this method has already been detailed before, but I'm sharing it again, I guess. This tutorial is primarily for Beta Firmwares. If you're not attempting to install beta firmware, I advise you use n1ghtshade.

There's probably some YouTube tutorials for this. You can use either n1ghtshade or Deca5 I thinl they both do the same thing, and they're both mac only.

[Question] iPad 4 - 10.3.3. Possible to downgrade to 7.1.2 without SHSH?
If you have a mac, you can use this tool n1ghtshade. It offers tethered downgrade to any iOS version supported by your device, in your case from 6.0 to 9.3.5 (10.3.3 is being signed, so you can restore to it anytime). If you don’t have mac, you can still use OTA downgrader . It can run on Linux and you can downgrade to iOS 8.4.1. Then you can jailbreak with etasonJB, which is untethered jailbreak and then use coolbooter to dualboot with iOS 7.1.2.

[help] im trying to install linux on an iphone 5, where do i start
Yes, I believe so. It looks like you can untethered downgrade to iOS 8.4.1 using iOS-OTA-Downgrader or a similar tool. If you want to go to other iOS versions, I found a tool called n1ghtshade that can downgrade to lower firmwares, but this will be tethered if you don't have blobs (not sure if it can be untethered if you do have blobs). I only found about n1ghtshade today, and the issues tab has a few people saying they couldn't get iPhone 5 downgrades working, though some people have been successful, YMMV.
