web gui alternative for Discord srv
Element, Mumble, and Mattermost could all be considered alternatives to Discord. I haven't used any of them together with Minecraft, but I found these plugins. * Minetrix is a "Spigot/PaperMC plug-in for connecting your Minecraft server with a Matrix room" * MumbleLink's "purpose is to be able to use Minecraft in conjunction with Mumble's positional audio feature"

Some thoughts on learning to receive and send morse with Koch's method and software.
Compatibility with a Murmur client that can connect to a murmur server, that enables chatting in morse code with other users. The client is available at: https://www.mumble.info/ Similar low latency open source free software solutions could also be used.

Anyone concerned that a single company can change core libraries that break multiple applications?
No, it broke 1 game and two libraries, both libraries optional. One of the libraries is already working on a solution. BTW, there were other software that would have been broken by this change, but it was preempted downstream like mumble
- LAN-based walkie-talkie/communication solution.
