Tensorflow for M1 macs with GPU support
Source: https://github.com/tensorflow/models/issues/10499
Thanks for replying. Yes I’m aware of those, but what I want to use is the object detection library.
Thank you so that worked and I was able to install it 😅. But when I try to run the test script as mentioned here, I get an error ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'object_detection'. Am I doing something wrong, I’m using a conda environment and I have tensorflow-macos and tensorflow-metal plug-in installed in the same environment as tf-models.

TF Object Detection API usage with Amazon S3
I am using the Tensorflow Object Detection API (https://github.com/tensorflow/models/tree/master/research/object_detection). It works great locally, however I am struggling to use it with Amazon S3 Cloud Storage. I have searched stackoverflow and other sources, but did not manage to find a working solution.

Inference Speed on TF2 object detection API
I do, but the inference speed is double for what TF states at https://github.com/tensorflow/models/blob/master/research/object_detection/g3doc/tf2_detection_zoo.md
It’s funny that google seemed to forget to document which hardware they used for the benchmark. There is even an unsolved issue on GitHub about that (Link). But on stackoverflow someone seemed to look into the config files and saw something about a tesla 100 (Link). So it seems to be the same.
