LaunchPup: rest is the countdown, the walk is liftoff (for both of you)
You log rest and the last burn. TabPFN reads a small CSV of rest/walk features and votes HOLD / GO / OVERDUE. Range safety votes separately on pavement temperature, humidity, night, and short-nosed breeds. Gemma is CAPCOM only: it does not get to overturn the poll. It writes a sixty-second pocket card, then tells you to put the phone away. Mastra is the harness around that agent.

LumiRoam: the tour guide for beginner photographers
No `storage` configured on Mastra — falling back to an in-memory store. In-memory storage is not durable: all data is lost on restart, and it is not safe for production. Configure a persistent storage adapter (e.g. @mastra/libsql, @mastra/pg, @mastra/cloudflare). Viva: a mock interview that knows which parts of your project an AI wrote
Built for the DEV Hacktoberfest 2026 Weekend Challenge (Build for a Friend). The interviewer is Gemma, an open-weight model; Mastra runs the agent; Entire checkpoints tell Viva which code an AI wrote.

Driftnet: one box that catches everything I would otherwise forget
Agent framework: Mastra. One agent classifies and extracts every capture. It sees the available templates (hackathon, idea, resource, task), the workspaces you already have, and today's date, so "next Friday" becomes a real date and a related capture joins the right workspace.

Ask HN: Who is hiring? (October 2026)
Mastra is the open-source TypeScript framework for building AI agents (agents, workflows, memory, evals, tracing). From the team behind Gatsby, YC-backed, https://github.com/mastra-ai/mastra
Why:
-
My code checker was wrong. How I turned its false positives into tests
rebar told mastra (commit 7e21ff5):
-
Google's Open Agentic Orchestrator
I've been using https://github.com/mastra-ai/mastra which is pretty similar but has workflow visibility and a number of templates.
For a generic swarm workflows aren't too useful which does away with the visibility, so I may give this a try instead.

How to Build AI Evals for Tool-Calling Agents
In this guide, you'll build exactly that. Using Mastra, you'll create a customer support agent that can look up orders, process refunds, and escalate to a human. Then you'll write a layered eval suite for it:
-
Connect Your Bedrock AgentCore Agent to Slack — Without Writing the Slack Part
Feature-wise, I feel Welt and welt-io both cover what they need to now. So the next step is growing the adapter lineup, and the current front-runner is Mastra (Strands' TypeScript SDK is also a candidate).
