TF2 on Linux is running incredibly poorly, reporting 1200%+ CPU usage. Steam also appears to have some sort of memleak and infinite loop/callback going on leading to absurd CPU usage over time.

I wanna get tf2 on my computer but I don’t think I can.
Custom files that tell the game how to run, in my case it’s graphic configs to make tf2 run at a playable fps. I suggest https://mastercomfig.com/ for graphics configs.
Mastercomfig will help tf2 run a lot better.

For those of you looking for a new TF2 HUD repository, I have good news.
As discussed recently, huds.tf is shutting down next Wednesday. The good news is that Mastercoms, the person that allows us to have a consistent FPS in the creaking and groaning TF2 engine, has put together a new HUD repository. HUD makers and modders can upload their work here.

Join r/NewToTF2 and r/truetf2 for help, get Mastercomfig to optimize your game settings and check the full list of TF2 & Valve-related subreddits. Regarding bots - over years Valve has made some "band aid" efforts to help us deal with bots so far, and it does help in a way. But some major actions are yet to be taken, cause in the last few years the bot situation has really gotten out of hand. When a server is largely populated during daytime or in the evening, bots are mostly not an issue. When it's late evening/night - better join the community servers.

Is win 11 ready to be used?
I should add that like most TF2 vets, I use a carefully tuned Mastercomfig to get a vastly smoother experience than stock. I also do a bunch of manual tweaks in my autoexec.cfg and class-specific cfgs as well. When I upgraded from 1080p to 1440p, I went from "Medium High" to "Medium Low" which might have been more of a drop down than I needed. I do fairly well except for on things like trade servers which are a clusterfuck of particle effects in close proximity.

I have not tried it but I have seen some people suggesting using masterconfig for TF2 https://mastercomfig.com/ .
