The mRemoteNG project has finally some development activity again (https://github.com/mRemoteNG/mRemoteNG/commits/develop) and there's a pre-release available. Seems like no major/interesting changes but at this point any movement is good methinks. Had already thought it's all but dead.

even if I would like some new features like connecting to hyperv vm I think that at this point mremoteng is pretty stable so it doesn't matter if they don't update it, but judging from the commits they are back working on it
