How to setup multiple keyboards?
I'd like for the gamepad to have unique buttons (or at least, be identified as a separate keyboard) so that I can leave the default keyboard binds in tact. I hope I'm making myself clear because honestly I don't even know what terms to google. The closest to a solution I got was this program, but the description turned me off, even though it sounds like it *could* do what I'm looking for.

please help! This is my script for a macro numpad. it almost works. the only problem is that when i press a button it first puts out its original use (for example 5) and when being released it puts out my output (alt+home). anyone know how to block the first input (when being pressed, example 5)?
As stated in the wiki, LuaMacros is not able to block key events from all applications. It's a design flaw* and LuaMacros is no longer being updated so it won't be fixed.

I made a script to use your second keyboard as a macro-keyboard where you can map a python function to each key! :)
Oooh. I wonder if this could replace https://github.com/me2d13/luamacros for me. Saving this for later thanks!

Need help with multiple commands per if / elseif code
That will send the delete key three times with a 50 ms pause after each. (I think, based on what I've just read.) But did you look at the LuaMacros documentation?

Need advice: Building a split ortholinear keyboard with two gaming keypads
BTW, if you had two identical 24 key boards without firmware programmability, you might still be able to use them like 48 distinct keys. See interception driver support (which I haven't tried). But that's something which Lua Macros probably does better, at least it's its core feature. It worked for me with two cheap non-programmable number pads, but I haven't pursued that and don't really use it (yet?).

mi pali e ilo sitelen pi toki pona!
So I decided that I really needed a dedicated Toki Pona keyboard, so I made one! I got the cheapest USB mechanical numberpad I could find (a ROTTAY 22-key), and figured out how to use LuaMacros to re-bind the keys. This is about a billion times less efficient than building a macropad from scratch but it also cost like $15 so like… cool trade. At some point I will want to replace my cheap stickers with nicer keycaps, but for now, it’s fine enough. The cool thing about LuaMacros is that it distinguishes between keyboards, so my regular numberpad is still working normally, and only this little one has been Toki Ponized.
