Yes I'm ashamed of my laziness... I usually cross my arms when reading so bought this page turner ring for 5 bucks. Not bad, yeah? lol
HERE’S THE GUIDE (if you buy the exact same ring as mine): 1. Please look it up on Aliexpress yourselves. I can't put the link here that's why my comment has been hidden the whole time so sorry :( 2. Download KoboRoot.tgz at: https://github.com/tsowell/kobo-btpt/releases/tag/v0.0.2 Then copy it into the .kobo folder of your eReader and eject it. After it installs, you'll see a .btpt folder on the device. 3. Download this file that I already tweaked: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k8vetyzas6sh83f/camera%20remote%20control?dl=0 Then copy it into the .btpt folder that was created earlier. 4. (FOR LIBRA 2 ONLY) Follow this guide to patch the uhid-module: https://github.com/tylpk1216/kobo-libra2-uhid-module After that, eject your Kobo and make sure to install the patch inside NickelMenu, it should show “insmod uhid.ko successfully”. 5. Connect the ring with your Kobo via Bluetooth and enjoy. Mine works this way: One-click - Next page, Double-click - Previous page. *NOTE that different remotes need to be configured differently. If you plan to use a different one please check out the FULL tutorial here: https://github.com/tsowell/kobo-btpt Feel free to DM me if you have any questions!
