Keyboardio Atreus Review (40%)
I think that it is definitely worth trying the Kaleidoscope firmware, by the way. It has some really polished features. It's hold-tap (mod-tap) implementation is probably the best that I have tried from the three firmware projects that I've used (Kaleidoscope, ZMK, QMK). QMK being by far the worst. It does have a tap dance plugin, although I find tap dances really awkward in general. We spend so much time creating alpha layouts that minimize same-finger-bigrams and add features like repeat keys, then use a feature like tap dances? Kaleidoscope has some other unique features like warping for mouse keys.
You can read more about the implementation here: https://github.com/keyboardio/Kaleidoscope/tree/master/plugins/Kaleidoscope-Qukeys

TPMouse - A virtual trackball for Windows
Cool! I think I can follow the code now. I'm working with the Kaleidoscope developers to try to make your work a plugin for their ecosystem (github issue) since it works so well (as long as that's OK with you?). I really like TPMouse, but I split my time 50/50 between Windows and Linux. For now I'm going to see if I can port the core of your code to C++. I frankly don't understand most of the supporting code, but I'm confident in my ability to do numerical computing lol.

keyboard for wrist pain?
It’s not really what most people think of as “affordable” but the Model 100 by keyboard.io is an amazing, comfortable, very flexible keyboard. And thanks to the Model 100 finally coming out you can find the previous version (the Model 01) for a lot less, although the switches on the Model 01 tend to fail fairly easily so I can only really recommend that if you’re good at soldering (the Model 100 uses much better switches which are also much easier to replace).

Use Two Keyboards at Once for Pain Relief
After some custom wooden cases for my ergodox, I'm really excited about the keyboardio model 100 https://keyboard.io/ basically an ergodox with style, and what seems a bit more ergonomy. I laughed a lot with the video for their last crowdfunding campaign, chicken jokes included :D

New to split mech kb. Getting used ergodox but wondering what r benefits of moonlander over ergodox? Does thumb cluster have all rave reviews or ergodox can do job equally well. Not a programmer but do lot of typing, application switching, use lot of mouse but hate it but wanna do away with.. Thank
For example, Kaleidoscope is a firmware; I don't know how it could be "split", but it's modular for what it's worth. It currently runs on at least three different keyboard models: Keyboardio M01, Atreus 2, Dygma Raise and possibly some others.
