I believe this step would be an alternative to getting root on the device (as instructed here: https://github.com/qwerty12/inkPalm-5-EPD105-root). I didn’t see these instructions initially, so I’m assuming it’s not necessary since the instructions I used for uninstalling did the same job. (Again: not tech savvy so idk).
