  Harry Potter and the Nightmares of Futures Past is a classic, though unfinished. YMMV on Snape's attitude - it started before book 7 was published and confirmed that he was loyal to Dumbledore - but it does a great job of balancing Harry having foreknowledge, vs Harry's changes having unexpected ripple effects.

  FFN deleted it due to a bogus copyright claim and ignored the author's attempts to appeal, but you can get it from a few other sites. The community-maintained PDF/eBook on GitHub is the only source of chapter 43 that I know of.

  Harry Potter and the Nightmares of Futures Past is unfortunately incomplete, only updates very rarely, and was deleted by FFN due to a bogus copyright claim, but is a very well executed time travel fic that brings Ginny in early and really lets her shine. Various sites have varying amounts of it, eg https://www.siye.co.uk/siye/viewstory.php?sid=9305 has up to chapter 40; the community-maintained PDF/eBook on GitHub has chapter 43, https://github.com/IntermittentlyRupert/hpnofp-ebook/releases/latest.

  She's not the main character in Harry Potter and the Nightmares of Futures Past, but she has a significant role - though her personality is a bit different from canon, which the author states is because of Harry and co intervening several years earlier to stop the bullies. Unfortunately FFN took it down (for bogus reasons), but you can find most of it in various places (SIYE, FanficAuthors.net). The only source of chapter 43 that I know of is the community-maintained PDF/eBook on GitHub.

  But more good news: You're behind the times! There was an update in 2019, chapter 43. Unfortunately it was followed shortly after by FFN taking down the story due to a bogus copyright claim, but the community grabbed the chapter before then, and incorporated it into the community-maintained PDF/eBook on GitHub.
