Finally, one last application I've seen people talking about is Grocy (https://grocy.info/). Grocy is a desktop application that also can be web-hosted, or installed on your mobile device. Like the other applications, it has barcode support, and even though it’s main use is for food preps, it looks like it could be used for other types of preps by using it category functionality. This application is Open-source, which, is a great thing if you are savvy enough to tweak with an applications source code to fix bugs or things like that. Some of the highlights are:

On the UI, the browser locale is used to display numbers (also applies to number inputs) (code ref).

That's don't work. I had this fixed too and bind this on the selected language/locale. But this don't affects the "opening" text in case of the missing class locale-number locale-number-quantity-amount @ the span field. code ref

  • Refresh data if external changes
    reddit.com/r/grocy | 2021-04-15
The reload doesn't happen when there is a dirty form and only when idling for at least 50 seconds (code ref). Please report a reproducible example as an issue and this will be of course fixed.

I get this as well. This is a known issue: https://github.com/grocy/grocy/issues/1285 3.0.1 was released on 2021-01-05, while this issue was filed on 2021-01-24. Seems it's been fixed in development but not released yet.

  • Organizing my basement (or drawers) with barcodes?
    reddit.com/r/grocy | 2021-04-01
#221 is about to add barcodes to any object, so it can be picked in dropdown menus by scanning it - like for products. Maybe that would also help for what you thought of.
  • Recipes > meal plan > add to grocery shopping list = crazy wrong math. Is this a bug or am I doing it wrong?

Seems to be a bug unfortunately, I've created #1436 to track that.

A: Transfer currently refers to to putting a product from location 1 to location 2, where locations are not products - a similar concept where products are also locations was already suggested in #481#issuecomment-779237246.
