ah yes my hardware don't work because Linux choose not to support it
He was trying to install goxlr on linux. It's nothing official, just a hack written by two people to make some unsupported hardware device work on linux.

Since it was too hard for Linus the maintainer or GoXLR-on-Linux update it's install instructions.
curl https://github.com/GoXLR-on-Linux/goxlr-on-linux/raw/main/install.sh | sh
Kudos to qwertychouskie for the PR. https://github.com/GoXLR-on-Linux/goxlr-on-linux/pull/30

I think what Linus and Luke at LTT are doing is incredibly important.
The goXLR script/Github repo that was featured? They added clearer noob-resistant instructions for how to download an execute the script. https://github.com/GoXLR-on-Linux/goxlr-on-linux/commit/45fbb38c2b18e2c0f9f99ce4d47ecfebcb7d562a

Part 2 has finally released!
Here's the GitHub link.
To be fair, if you go to the github page of that goxlr-on-linux repo and look at the hyperlink to the "install.sh" in the file listing, it does look like a url to download the actual script:

[LTT] This is NOT going Well… Linux Gaming Challenge Pt.2 -
Because that's what the web page was called. https://github.com/GoXLR-on-Linux/goxlr-on-linux/blob/main/install.sh I think is the one. Since it ends in "install.sh", the browser will save the page as "install.sh".
Here is the web page that Linux ran "Save as" on. Would you right-click on it to "Save as", thinking that it would get saved as a regular file instead of the web page you see on the screen?
https://github.com/GoXLR-on-Linux/goxlr-on-linux/blob/main/install.sh
Not accurate on the g pro, it does give a low battery warning and if Linus was able to find this script for GoXLR, he should have been able to google a bit and know that Piper exists and can control rbg, button mapping and sensitivity dpi.
