Critique my code: My first Godot game
Just wanted to add a bit to the questions/problems you've listed: logging: You probably want to use some kind of logging library. There are probably more than enough implementations out there, just found this one which looks promising: https://github.com/KOBUGE-Games/godot-logger I didn't use it myself, as i use a library which was deprecated and is not maintained anymore, so i wouldn't recommend that to you. I just didn't have the patience to switch yet. ;) If for some reason you don't fancy using this or another library, at the very least i would create a Logger class that is autoloaded and abstracts the print function. That way you can switch the implementation easily without having to rewrite every print statement.
